Who is strongest?
Two bucks of the same size, both with six tines, meet at their territorial limits. They make themselves look big, stretch out, and display their antlers. Scents, undetectable to humans, are also vital signals. They scrutinize each other, determining size and strength.

But one buck feels inferior – body droops, lowers his head, and steps back.
